Working conditions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, clients and subcontractors;
- Collaborate with the client's representatives to ensure that their expectations and requirements are integrated;
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure alignment on project objectives;
- Provide regular updates to schedules, activities and milestones;
- Facilitate regular meetings and discussions between relevant parties to address interface-related matters;
- Evaluate the impact of changes on project scope, schedule, and budget;
- Work closely with the Project Controls team;
- Participate in project reviews to identify opportunities for improving the interface management process;
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project performance;
- A long-term, full-time position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred;
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Engineer in the oil and gas industry, preferably within an EPC environment;
- Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project);
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI);
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable;
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
