Working conditions

  • Design performance metrics that reflect both short-term & long-term organizational objectives, implement innovative drilling techniques to improve well performance & reduce costs;
  • Manage drilling budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial targets;
  • Present detailed reports on drilling performance, cost analysis, and project outcomes to senior management and stakeholders;
  • Maintain accurate & up-to-date documentation for all drilling activities & performance assessments;
  • Manage drilling projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, & safety;
  • Develop & maintain project schedules, track progress, and report on milestones/deliverables;
  • Utilize real-time data & performance metrics to monitor drilling operations;
  • Implement best practices & technological solutions to enhance drilling efficiency, reduce non-productive time (NPT), optimize resource utilization;
  • Provide technical expertise to drilling teams, field personnel, & junior engineers;
  • Mentor team members in developing their technical skills, facilitate knowledge sharing and growth improvement;
  • Conduct post-well analyses to assess performance against KPIs & identify lessons learned;
  • Ensure all drilling activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, environmental standards;
  • Lead incident investigations/root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in upstream operations (at least 5 years with focus on planning, performance optimization and project management);
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools & software, with an emphasis on performance measurement;
  • Demonstrated understanding of performance metrics development and benchmarking methodologies;
  • Deep knowledge in modern performance management tools/software, industry standards, relevant regulations; risk assessment, integration of risk considerations into performance strategies;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a dynamic/fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing complex challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
