Working conditions
- Sourcing Suppliers: Research and identify potential suppliers/vendors. Obtain price quotations and negotiate terms and conditions. Maintain a comprehensive supplier database;
- Purchase Order Management: Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders. Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and deal with documentation;
- Vendor Communication: Liaise with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies or issues;
- Communicate delivery schedules and expectations to suppliers. Maintain positive relationships with vendors;
- Inventory Control: Monitor and update inventory levels to avoid stockouts. Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation. Coordinate with relevant departments to manage surplus or obsolete inventory;
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders and contracts. Organize and file procurement documents for easy retrieval. Prepare reports and summaries as needed;
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Assist in the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers. Stay up-to-date with procurement regulations and industry best practices;
- Cost Control: Assist in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality;
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the procurement team as required. Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and assist with correspondence;

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
- Proven experience as a procurement assistant or in a similar role is a plus;
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities;
- Proficient in both verbal and written Azerbaijani and English; Russian language skills are an advantage;
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices is preferred;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procurement processes;
- Integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive procurement information;
