Working conditions

  • Perform tripping operations (drill strings, BHA, casings, etc.) using rig floor handling equipment;
  • Assist in the maintenance of rig equipment and ensure that tools and equipment are kept in safe and clean conditions;
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in drilling areas, ensuring all tools are properly stored;
  • Support Fluid Operatives and perform fluid mixing as directed;
  • Assist in tubular and equipment handling, rigging up specialist service company equipment, and in installing BOP and wellhead equipment;
  • Conduct shaker house duties, monitoring fluid returns and shaker performance, and reporting observations to the Driller;
  • Conduct handovers with back-to-back Pipe Operatives and assist in inspections;
  • Carry out any other tasks as delegated by the Line Supervisor;

Requirements

  • Land rig or offshore experience is required;
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, coordination, and effective problem-solving;
  • Proficiency in English is beneficial but not mandatory;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities;
  • Physical strength and stamina to work in a demanding offshore environment;
  • Commitment to safe working practices, company policies, and legislation;
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and adaptable, with the capability to perform tasks accurately under pressure;
  • A relevant educational background is beneficial but not a requirement;
  • Experience in a high-performing, multicultural team setting.
