Working conditions
- Conducting research on domestic and international markets, developing and regularly updating a reliable, professional, and sound base of contractors and suppliers;
- Develops relationships with suppliers, analyzes their production and financial capabilities, and assesses the feasibility and appropriateness of establishing direct long-term business relationships for the procurement of material and technical resources;
- Carries out necessary tasks to ensure the current procurement plan is executed according to the calendar schedule;
- Prepares and makes amendments to the documents required for contract signature;
- Negotiate with suppliers to place orders and agree on delivery times and conditions;
- Prepares delivery acceptance reports for completed work;
- Prepares purchase orders (PO) for required goods/services in the relevant ERP system accurately, promptly, and comprehensively;
- Prepares proposals for replacing expensive material and technical resources with more affordable and advantageous alternatives that also meet quality requirements;
- Lead the negotiations with key suppliers for the main strategic packages. Ensure proper communication with internal/external stakeholders to ensure all parties are promptly informed. To provide a clear Commercial Bid Evaluation and a Recommendation for Purchase;
- Lead and support other Procurement specialists, juniors, trainees, interns and new hires;
- Location: Baku;
- Work schedule: Full time, 5 days per week.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (MBA is an advantage);
- Certification of CIPS (or relevant) is a big advantage;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement in which minimum 1 year in a leading role;
- Experience in production companies is an advantage;
- Proficiency in English and Russian;
