Working conditions
- Assist in ensuring compliance safety rules with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards specific to agribusiness;
- Help develop and implement safety policies and procedures;
- Participate in conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to agricultural practices and equipment;
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of control measures and making recommendations for improvements;
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and practices;
- Help maintain training records and monitor employee participation;
- Assist in documenting incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring all reports are complete and accurate;
- Support to conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety policies;
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility;
- Assist in conducting drills and training sessions for emergency preparedness;
- Location: Agsu (Agrofresh).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field;
- 1-2 years of experience in an HSE role;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani; additional languages are a plus;
- Basic knowledge of HSE principles, regulations, and industry standards;
- Organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team;
- Ability to use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
