Working conditions
- Participation in fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates and surveys;
- Assisting in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase;
- Under the guidance of Sr Engineers, assist in the reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analysis;
- Assisting in the preparation of specifications, data sheets, and other industrial construction documents;
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other);
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications;
- Conduct all civil works procedure and performance qualifications;
- Assist the manager in preparing report to be submitted to stakeholders by providing necessary information on the progress of the business;
- Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications;
- Assess potential risks, materials and labor costs;
- Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems ;
- Produce reports in project status;
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits;
- Participate in hazard and reliability analysis as required;
- Perform Civils troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis;
- Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day.
Requirements
- BS/MA in hydrotechnical engineering is preferable;
- 3-5 years of experience in irrigation or water works;
- Working knowledge of industry and government standards;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals;
- Communication and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical Thinking;
- Understand Diagrams, Drafts, Flow-Charts, and Other Information and Documentation;
- Advanced knowledge of Azeri and English;
