İş haqqında məlumat

  • Preparation of environmental plans and procedures;
  • Providing comments on environmental activities with third-party contracts;
  • Assessing the environmental impact of the projects and operation;
  • Develop a program for environmental inspections and audits in areas under responsibility;
  • Promote the development of environmental culture and carry out environmental awareness;
  • Ensure full implementation of Environmental Plans and Procedures;
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and international standards;
  • Development of action plan for identification and elimination of environmental risks;
  • Participating directly in the elimination and coordination of all possible accidents that may have a negative impact on the environment;
  • Communicate with stakeholders to minimize environmental impacts;
  • Preparation of environmental requirement forms and reports of all activities affecting the environment for proper and efficient management of resources;
  • Conducting environmental investigations and preparing reports;
  • Reporting of used drinking and raw water, controlling its use in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and keeping records;
  • Checking the operational condition and effectiveness of oil spill response equipment;
  • Controlling harmful gas emissions, especially greenhouse gases (GHGs) and their sources, monitoring that emissions are within the relevant limits, investigating solutions and making proposals;
  • Carrying out control works and reports on compliance with the norms of harmful substances released into the atmosphere from technological facilities, stationary and non-stationary sources of production and non-production areas;
  • Monitoring oil sludge removal from tanks, measurement, temporary storage, appropriate transportation, and prevention of environmental pollution;
  • Regularly report to the management about environmental works;
  • Identification, recording and elimination of environmental inconsistencies by relevant areas;
  • Preparing payment reports and annual statistical reports for government;
  • Controlling the fulfillment of the requirements of ISO 14001 international standards;
  • Participating in inspections or audits conducted by government authorities and international inspection organizations;
  • Compliance with the norms and rules of internal discipline, labor protection, technical safety and fire safety, industrial sanitation, civil defense;
  • Timely execution of management duties;
  • Liaising with the laboratory and taking part in taking samples, reviewing the results of the analysis and analyzing the results.

Tələblər

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or environmental management, master’s degree in related discipline is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience;
  • Certificates and trainings on the relevant field;
  • ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems auditor certification preferred;
  • Practical experience in applying environmental mitigation methods;
  • Experience managing contractors and working with construction crews;
  • Practical experience of waste management methods and systems;
  • Microsoft Office knowledge;
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills.
