Working conditions
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and sustainability regulations and standards;
- Contribute to the reduction of the organization's environmental footprint;
- Participate in the development and execution of sustainability initiatives and projects;
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to safety, environmental performance, and sustainability metrics;
- Assist in the preparation and reporting of sustainability data in accordance with GRI standards and other relevant frameworks (SASB, TCFD);
- Facilitate the integration of renewable energy solutions into the company's operations;
- Contribute to ESG rating assessments and reporting processes;
- Assist in the preparation of the company's annual sustainability report;
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to achieve net-zero carbon footprint;
- Organization and implementation of training and development programs to ensure that management, staff, and subcontractors are aware of the company's HSE policy and rules;
- Generate reports for management and regulatory authorities;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations;
- Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-miss events;
- Participate in safety and environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments;
- Help identify and address non-compliance issues and hazards;
- Maintain accurate records related to health, safety, environmental, and sustainability programs;
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible;
- Workplace: Plant office.
Requirements
- Bachelor/master’s degree in chemical engineering, Environmental and Safety Engineering, or another related field;
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of net-zero emissions, carbon footprint, waste management, joint credit mechanism, ESG rating, renewable energy, diversity, and sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD), health, safety, and environmental regulations and related ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is preferred;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Advanced command of English;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Certification in relevant sustainability and HSE programs (e.g., SEA, OSHA, ISO 14001) is a plus;
