Working conditions
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned to the highest standards;
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards;
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues;
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for daily operations;
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed;
- Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally;
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines;
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role, preferably in hospitality;
- Strong leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards;
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficient in using housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office applications;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
