Working conditions
- Supervising team/reviewing input transactions in accounting software (1C) as well as all preparation of financial reports prepared in accordance with IFRS requirements;
- Manage month-end and year-end close process;
- Performing other daily accounting tasks as per the requirements;
- Monitoring and preparation and submission of all statutory (tax, social, statistics, etc.) reports;
- Correspondence with the government bodies on various tax matters;
- Assistance during inspections of tax or any other inspections;
- Participation in the tax audits in order to identify potential tax risks of clients;
- Assistance in litigation regarding the tax issues;
- Supervise tax consultant and junior staff and participation in developing acconting/tax practice;
- Business development (meeting with potential clients, marketing activities including preparation of presentations, proposals, etc.);
- Administrative functions.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting and/or other related business disciplines;
- Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijan Tax regulations as well as PSA taxation;
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounting procedures and principles;
- Strong knowledge of 1 C (other accounting software is an advantage);
- 5 years (or more) of work experience in the related filed is required;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, Russian;
- Professional qualifications are an advantage (ACCA, DipIFR, Certificate of a Professional Accountant (PAC), etc.);
- Solid knowledge and working experience of MS Office Programs-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (advanced Excel is a must);
- Good team player;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines;
- Problem-solving and decision- making skills;
