  • Oversee and manage the daily activities of the procurement department across all business units, ensuring efficient processes and task allocation;
  • Develop and implement group-wide purchasing strategies to optimize costs, enhance supplier quality, and mitigate risks;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and terms to secure favorable agreements;
  • Monitor and manage inventory needs in coordination with relevant departments, ensuring seamless supply chain operations;
  • Ensure all procured goods and services meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures;
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Provide training and mentorship to the procurement team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards;
  • Represent the company in dealings with vendors, contractors, government agencies, and other external stakeholders;
  • Prepare, analyze, and present procurement reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making;
  • Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and project teams, to address procurement needs and challenges;
  • Foster positive relationships with group business representatives and third-party service providers;
  • Maintain professional communication and represent the company’s interests at all times;

Tələblər

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus);
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably within the hospitality or related industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing for food and beverage, general supplies, engineering, housekeeping, capital expenditures, and other operational needs;
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory control methods and PC spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective procurement strategies and procedures;
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated track record of securing cost-effective and high-quality agreements;
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and mentoring staff to achieve performance excellence;
  • Advanced skills in financial and strategic planning related to procurement;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to convey complex concepts effectively;
  • Advanced negotiation skills to manage relationships and contracts in non-standard situations;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Understanding of workplace safety rules, standards, and procedures;
  • International certifications in procurement and supply chain management, such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional), are considered an advantage.
