- Knowledge of the travel industry and economic factors;
- Develop awareness and reputation of the hotels in the local community;
- Researching and developing sales opportunities, understanding consumer requirements, and identifying market trends, to achieve the company's sales goals;
- Implementing new sales plans and advertising;
- Direct and manage all group, transient, and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel;
- Develop rates, and group sales deployment strategies through a review of competitive data, and demand analysis;
- Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals;
- Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
- Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession;
- Minimum five years of sales experience in the hotel industry;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems;
- Command of the English language both written and verbal;
- Strong media, presentation, and computer skills.
