Working conditions
- Support the design, maintenance and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment used in process operations;
- Under the guidance of senior engineers, gain hands-on experience and knowledge of processes, equipment performance and mechanical systems;
- Support the inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance of mining machinery such as conveyors, crushers, pumps, and heavy equipment;
- Assist in the design, modification and improvement of mechanical systems to ensure the safety;
- Gather and analyze data on equipment performance, failures and ware rates to recommend improvements;
- Learn and apply safety standards and regulations;
- Assist in preparing technical reports, manuals and drawings related to mechanical systems;
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians and mining personnel to understand operational needs and provide mechanical engineering support;
- Prepares daily, weekly, and yearly plans for maintenance;
- Keeps weekly, monthly records of the purchased equipment and reports to the line manager.
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent (in Engineering, Mechanics, Technological machines and equipment, Hydraulics, Industrial organization and management, Mining facilities engineering);
- Both Experienced and Unexperienced candidates are welcome;
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, mining equipment and processes (desirable);
- Exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
- An ability and desire to travel and work in different locations;
- Good knowledge of Azerbaijan and English language (Intermediate);
- Practical knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, Design and Drawing programs (desirable).
