Working conditions
- English speaking math teacher required;
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each important task satisfactorily;
- Plans and delivers appropriate curriculum content to students;
- Continually assesses student learning and modifies instruction to meet group/individual needs;
- Uses the school's curriculum to plan daily teaching activities;
- Classroom tasks such as planning, classroom management, teaching, assessment, evaluation;
- Creating an audience for meetings, etc.;
- Cooperates with other teaching staff in planning and delivering training to students;
- Demonstrates commitment to improving professional competence;
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or certificates;
- A minimum of two years of work related skills, knowledge IB, MYP, PYP or experience is required;
- Requires general knowledge of teaching concepts, principles, and methodologies, as well as academic curriculum for assigned grades;
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver instruction and develop instructional objectives to assess student learning;
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing;
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem analysis, conflict resolution, interpersonal and planning skills;
- Basic skills for theater performance, training skills for voice and movement, creative play and rehearsals, general knowledge of basic accounting and structure building;
- General knowledge of auditorium sound systems and lighting systems;
- Ability to communicate fluently in English orally and in writing;
- Ability to respond to general inquiries or complaints from students, parents, staff or community members;
- Regular use of complex machinery and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and industrial machinery and equipment, etc.);
