Working conditions

  • Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads;
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with clients;
  • Manages customer RFP’s to drive market share through Meeting Broker system;
  • Ensures RFP processes are followed in line with the Hilton Best Practice;
  • Attendance at Industry Conferences and events;
  • Prepare partner contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions;
  • Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities;
  • Develop partner accounts and analyze the market to drive business into the hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams;
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs;
  • Attend Sales events, as required;
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads;
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner;
  • To ensure information relating to partner requirements, interests and marketing activities is kept up to date through the use of relevant Hilton procedures;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred;
  • Experience in sales  in the hospitality or service sector is preferred;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS Software, Microsoft Windows  computer programs;
  • Excellent command of Azerbaijani, Engilish, Russian (written and spoken);
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times;
  • Must possess professional telephone etiquette and have an excellent command.
