Senior Internal Control Specialist

Working conditions

Perform independent testing of internal controls over business processes.
Provide input into the development of the annual risk-based Internal Control test plan.
Conduct business process control reviews related to implementation of business process changes.
Establish and maintain relationships with the Business Process Owners to remediate identified control weaknesses.
Analyze information and conduct testing to detect deficient, non-existent controls, inefficiencies etc.
Conduct fraud risk assessments and fraud investigations based on information provided.
Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of an effective internal control environment.
Present and report the result of control reviews and fraud investigations to line manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree;
At least 4 years of relevant experience preferably at Retail sector
Strong written and verbal communication skills for communication with managers and business process owners
Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems;
Presentation skills;
Good personal organisation skills;
Language skills - Azerbaijani, English
Computer skills - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (high level), and PowerPoint).
